We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Luxury Retail Store Manager to lead our Amsterdam I.Ma.Gi.N store. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in (luxury) retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an unparalleled shopping experience to our clientele.

Your Responsibilities:

Sales and Performance Management: Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Coach and mentor sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills.

Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer interaction reflects the brand's luxury values and exceeds expectations. Personally engage with clients, resolving any issues and cultivating lasting relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create captivating store displays that showcase the brand's products in an aesthetically pleasing and appealing manner, maintaining a luxurious shopping environment.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and effective management of product assortment. Minimise stock discrepancies and implement inventory control measures.

Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create individual development plans to nurture employee growth and retention.

Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day store operations in adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensure a clean, organised, and safe store environment at all times.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics. Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.


  • Fluent in Dutch & English
  • Proven experience in retail management, with a minimum of 2  years in a store manager/team leader role. (Experience in luxury / jewelry retail is a plus)
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury products, customer preferences, and market trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Aesthetic sensibility and an eye for detail in visual merchandising.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
